These terrifying last moments were captured by French television and shocked the world.

For 45 minutes, Muhammad and his father tried to hide behind a small concrete barrel as bullets rained around them. Here Jamal tries to push Mohammad towards the wall because of intense firing .

Seconds latter Jamal realizes that some Israeli Mercenaries have come across the street and shouts helplessly .Israeli troops had fired relentlessly, even shooting at an ambulance that had tried to rescue Mohammad and his father , ambulance driver Bassam al-Balbesi was also killed , and a second ambulance driver was wounded.

Two seconds latter , the cameraman ducks as a ear shattering and powerful round of bullets pierce through the wall and the Palestinian father and son .

Seconds latter Mohammad's lifeless body lies in a pool of blood beside his father's unconscious body . Mohammad was hit four times and killed on the spot, Jamal al-Durah survived but was also critically wounded and will suffer permanent paralysis in his right hand.

The following is the Jamal el-Durah's reaction to the killing of his son.

"I appeal to the entire world, to all those who have seen this crime to act and help me avenge my son's death and to put on trial Israel.

I also plan to take Israel to the international courts and ask that the criminals responsible for the death of my son be punished.

It is the worst nightmare of my life... My son was terrified, he pleaded with me, 'For the love of God protect me, Baba'. I will never forget these words."

As i saw the video , i strained to compose myself. I am but human . Appaling is the remark of the israeli minister who said that these images were of terrorists . As i pule to the sound of gun shots through this vivid video , i wonder if I will ever forget these ghastly images .
